Often warning lights are just false alarms, a blown bulb or something fault in the warning system.
Often even if they do point to something wrong, it is so minor, you can ignore them and nothing really bad will happen.
Also sometimes if you stop the car and look up the manual from the glove box, figure out what the symbols from the lights on the dashboard mean, they will tell you it is safe to keep driving and the problem will most likely fix itself over time. Just monitor the issue, and carry on. All will probably be okay without needing to do anything that we weren’t already doing.
But if something like it is a flashing red symbol of an engine, you better stop the car and do something serious otherwise you could blow the engine and cost you thousand.
Likewise with our emotions when we feel something is upsetting us, it is tell us something we should pay attention too. Emotions are our warning system.
If you just sweep the upsetting emotion under the carpet, don’t listen to it and supress it, you could be missing a message that could really help you.
A practice for me when driving, is that when I see a warning light from my car dashboard, I need to stop the car, look at the manual and fix out what is wrong before it is safe to carry on.
Likewise with our emotions, it is time well spent working out what is bugging us before continuing on—it could really save from serious trouble and keep us moving ahead safely and more successfully in life.
